Eunice was bitten in the thigh by something at dinner Sunday, and by the next day it had swelled slightly. By this morning, the bite had swollen to a big, red lump (see picture).

A trip to the doc’s confirmed that the bite (or whatever it was) had infected the leg. A shot of anti-histamines and a course of anti-biotics was prescribed to deal with the infection for the next 2 days, after which, a second check would be needed to see if the meds had controlled the infection.
